A generic with an attractive price and declared effects, but we can't get it in a proper way. This is Fildena 100, a product of the pharmaceutical company Fortune Healthcare from India. It is a generic tablet of Viagra, the effectiveness of which is based on a substance called sildenafil. It is also used, for example, for benign prostate enlargement.

I have no remorse for generics because they are usually made with prescription drugs with a completely different focus. Pharmaceutical companies are engaged in the production of medicines with a similar composition and the same active ingredients, with the main advantage over the original being the lower price.

However, with Fildena, this is a slightly different situation. Because our medicine is not approved, it is not even tested. It is a bit of a risk. If you travel abroad, you can, of course, buy it where it is allowed. But it is debatable whether it is worth it.

Manufacturer and origin

Fildena is manufactured by the Indian company Fortune Healthcare, which, for example, is also behind Kamagra, a relatively successful generic of Viagra. Kamagra is widespread in dozens of countries and is rated more or less positively. So the company probably decided to produce a generic for Viagra to build on its previous success.

The original inspires Fildena at first glance. You can easily confuse purple tablets with an atypical triangle shape with sildenafil. The preparation is manufactured in two versions, which differ in the amount of active substance. The weaker version is Fildena 25 mg, the stronger Fildena 200 mg, where the number expresses the weight of Fildena in the product.

Effects of Sildenafil

The principle of Fildena 120 is to act on special PDE-5 enzymes, which help to dilate the small and microscopic vessels that are important for the blood supply to the penis. This substance can increase the permeability of these vessels for a specific time by acting on their smooth muscle, and as a result, an erection can be achieved.

Dosage and use

Taking Fildena is oral, i.e., just putting the tablet in your mouth, swallowing it, or drinking it with a glass of water. It is essential to know that the Fildena pills in this medicine only works for a certain period, so it is necessary to take it repeatedly, but not more than once a day, to get an erection again.

As far as the medicine is illegal in our country, no doctor in Slovakia will prescribe it to you or recommend a dosage. However, you can get the product abroad. Only a doctor is competent to decide on the maximum daily dose and only after diagnosing a specific form of erectile dysfunction in a man.

Contraindications and when Fildena cannot be used

Naturally, some contraindications are associated with erectile dysfunction drugs, which contain chemically produced active ingredients. These most often relate to other drugs, but also a specific medical condition. Some also restrict the use of Fildena. Others even make it completely impossible to use.

You should know about the following situations:

Diseases that preclude the use

Sildenafil, as a substance that affects multiple processes involving the cardiovascular system, can cause allergies, which is an exclusionary factor in the use of Fildena or vigora 100. It is also not recommended if you have leukemia, anemia, or multiple myeloma. Heart, kidney, and liver diseases are completely exclusive.

Other factors precluding the use

The drug is indicated only for men over 18 years of age. It is not intended for women. It is also not intended for men who suffer from other problems, such as erectile dysfunction. Alcohol and heavy meals can change the tablets' effectiveness, as can grapefruit juice, which you should not drink in combination with Fildena. Also, pay attention to the use of medicines while driving.

Contraindications to drugs

As for medicines, Fildena 150 must not be taken with nitrates and nitric oxide donors, nor can it be combined with similar erectile dysfunction medicines. For example, combinations with antibiotics, antifungal drugs, antiepileptics, tuberculosis drugs, antihypertensive drugs, and drugs for HIV or AIDS can cause problems.

Can medications for erectile dysfunction help immediately?

They should, but it's just a theory. Some work well, others less, it also depends on your health and the degree of erectile dysfunction. However, with Fildena 50, several men's experience says that the first tablets did not take them, and they had to repeat the dosing for several days to make a visible improvement.
