| Description | Give them a mountain, and it'll move. Cut down, carved in their image like humans do. Give them the world, and nothing will ever move again. And therein lies the problem, doesn't it? Excess leads to boredom. Boredom leads to obsolescence. Obsolescence leads to abandonment, right off the side of the mountain. The Bulb fixates, and in that fixation, we prosper. The Bulb nurtures, and in that warmth, we grow powerful. The Bulb hums, and in that hum, we tune out the constant churn of progress for the sake of it. Noise doesn't faze us. Neither do the ravages of time, common thought, and popular taste. Creation is what we know. Our kind? Is Somnolescent. |
