Hey!

After waiting so long I've been able to install the AMD drivers to enable OpenCL on my Linux.... Unfortunately it's installed OpenCL 1.2

My graphics cards are Radeon RX 580 (2 cards) and the official site says they support OpenCL 2.0. However, the tutorial I followed said that anything older than a "Vegas 10" should install a legacy OpenCL, which is how I ended up with version 1.2.

Should I just re-install the PAL OpenCL? Or will that cause issues?

Default AMD drivers aren't being picked up by BOINC in general, but after going with the proprietary AMD drivers, BOINC is picking up both cards.

Here's the Tutorial I'm going by:

No one seems to be getting any work at the moment, with no explanation about why from admin. Or he must've done it on Discord but I'm not 24/7 following that.

I installed the ROCm compute runtime, RX 480 here.

This project requires OpenCL 2.0, which ROCm provides. However, I kinda don't get any work tasks sent to my machine.

Yeah, I slowly found out that ROCm is what I needed. Unfortunately, my 3rd gen i7 doesn't support PCIe Atomic, so it's incompatible with ROCm.
