I have never used these forums before so if I am posting in the wrong place I am sorry. Hello! I have been following this project for some time and have finally got around to contributing. I have an old 32 bit raspberry pi 3 (raspberry pi os) with boinc installed. I go to tools > add project. I could not find Minecraft@home in the list so I type in https://minecraftathome.com/minecrafthome/ into the project URL bar, as suggested here (https://minecraftathome.com/minecrafthome/join.php). I hit enter. A pop up appears that says 'this project may not have work for your type of computer. Do you want to add it anyway?' I click yes. Another popup. 'the URL you supplied is not that of a boinc-based project. Please check the URL and try again' Is this a problem with Linux? Is Minecraft@home only available for windows? Maybe 32 bit is not supported?? Thank you in advance! |

Minecraft at home just got arm support for its latest task (so the Raspberry Pi is included), but I believe it's an ARMv8 (64-bit) application, not an ARMv7 (32-bit) app. BUT the Pi3 has 64-bit support so you would just need to install the 64-bit version of Raspbian onto it. |

As of right now, Minecraft@Home supports Windows, Linux, and Linux On ARM64 for CPU and Windows and Linux for GPU (Nvida only, Maxwell 900 series or higher, I believe) |
