As title says.
One thread of AMD 4600h can produce ~ 800.000 credits daily. I think it's bit to much... by factor of 1000.

Meh. Comparing credits across different projects is meaningless. So long as credits are consistent within the project, it's all good.

But they are not.
As far as I remember Cactus run on GPU gave less credits than now even slowest CPU.
And credits between projects are not comparable, but there should be some sense.
BU years ago gave enormous credits, but GPU on BU vs GPU on other GPU Project were more or less similar - just ASICs were much faster.
Here CPU is not tens times faster than GPU.
As society We shall take care of BOINC. That's all.

Not really

Inflated credits disrupts the BOINC Combined credit ranking which were almost killed by Bitcoin Utopia project ..

I have work units from 2021 on my computer and yes they ran longer but they still gave 2500 points as they do now.
So credit script has not been changed just work unit run time.

The run time can change at any time so it appears that rather than mucking around changing things all the time they have a framework that they appear to be working in, so I am OK with that.

I don't know what work is done in a work unit, but it must be a fair bit to issue over 1,000,000 work units trying to get the results they are looking for.

Sometimes higher credit is issued in order to get work done faster, this maybe one of those times.

Work is not always available either.
