Hello, I have my integrated graphics being used in addition to my RTX card which I would rather not have since the integrated graphics is very slow and probably hinders the project rather than helps speed up the whole process .

Is there any way I can stop this?

It turns out simply disabling it in device manager worked.

With integrated GPU you mean an Intel GPU? Just go to https://minecraftathome.com/minecrafthome/prefs.php?subset=project (that's the project preferences from your account), edit them, uncheck "Use Intel GPU" and save the changes. That way the next time BOINC asks for work, it won't get any anymore for the Intel GPU.
